Terms and Conditions.
Thank you for asking us to preserve your wedding flowers, please could you take the time to read the following terms and conditions for our mutual benefit.
DEPSOITS
All deposits and non-refundable should you wish to cancel your preservation. If you decide to non send your flowers we ask that you can let us know as soon as possible so we can open the slot to another bride. Your final balance is due once your flowers have been dried out and a design (if ordering a block) has been agreed. The resin process will not begin until final balance is received.
POSTING YOUR FLOWERS
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the flowers reach us in the best possible condition. Packaging instructions will be emailed over to you before your event date. If flowers cannot be hand delivered, we advise using Royal Mail. We cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your flowers in transit.
DRYING YOUR FLOWERS
Your bouquet will go into silica sand on the day of arrival. We do not press flowers, all flowers are preserved in their original shape therefore please ensure if ordering coasters you have smaller, flatter flowers within your bouquet to ensure a smooth flat surface. Roses can be opened flat to dry in silica sand.
Your entire bouquet will not be dried, we select the best flowers from your bouquet ensuring we have enough to complete your order. Please ensure you have finalised the number of items you are wanting before your bouquet arrives with me.
Your flowers are going to change colour as the moisture is extracted from the petals; we believe is a beautiful part of flower preservation.
Reds – Turn darker/burgundy
White – Turns a darker cream/beige
Pink – Turns a shade darker or lighter dependant of variety.
Peach/Coral – Has a tendency to turn a more pinker shade.
We currently do not colour enhance any flowers, we are a natural company showcasing flowers in their natural form.
DESIGN STAGE
Shifts in flowers do happen once placed within the mould however we will try our best to replicate the design emailed over. We are unable to send a design for anything made upside down; ring holders, spheres, tealights, letters etc
RESIN STAGE: BUBBLES
Finalised items will contain small imperfections and bubbles, this is the nature of resin and a handmade product. We try out best to avoid large bubbles on the surface but tiny air bubbles on the surface are inevitable. Small bubbles generally happen around the edges of the item and/or the bottom layer on a block due to the flowers creating tiny air pockets – this does not affect the quality of your item. This isnt a perfect process, its art but i promise your items are made with the upmost care.
TRANSULSENT SPOTS
Flowers will change colour as resin is poured onto them, similarly to if you were to pour water onto clothing. Some spots on flowers will go translucent due to bruising on the petals; this is impossible to see until the resin is poured. Bruising could have occurred anytime your flowers were handled; by the grower, by your florist, by you on your wedding day, when being shipped or by us when drying. Instead of looking at bruising negatively we like to think it shows all the beautiful moments they were handled during your wedding.
RESIN AMBERING
The resin we use to is clear and very high-quality with great UV protection. It provides a three-dimensional experience of viewing your flowers. Over time, the resin might develop a slight amber-like glow. We think this adds a beautiful, vintage element to it. Resin yellowing is an inevitable over time from the natural aging of your product. The best way to prevent this from happening is to leave it out of any kind of direct sunlight. We are not responsible for the natural effects of aging in your product.
TEALIGHT HOLDERS
We recommend using artificial tealights with all tealight holders to prevent any damage to your resin product. Real tealights unlit can be used for
TURN AROUND TIME
The complete process for preserving your flowers should take approximately 6 months from when we receive your bouquet. Completion may be quicker during quieter months. The process may be delayed if flowers take longer to dry out however If there is a delay we will let you know.
We are unable to return any unused flowers to you unless you are collection your order. Any left over flowers will be stored for 14 days following receipt of your order, after which they will be disposed of.
